This site is dedicated to all those Army Apprentices who joined the Army Apprentices College,  Arborfield, Berkshire, England in 1965.

In 1965 the Arborfield Army Apprentice College had three intakes, January - called 65A, April - called 65B and September - called 65C.

224 boys aged between 15 and 17 started their Army Service at Arborfield that year hoping to qualify in a number of different trades including Vehicle Mechanic, Aircraft Technician, Radar technician, Control Equipment technician and Telecommunication technician.

The life of an Army Apprentice was tough - but enjoyable, friendships forged during the three years of their apprenticeships remain strong today.

Many Army apprentices from 1965 are still in contact with each other and some meet up each year for reunions.

This site therefore is dedicated to the development of those friendships and the search for those missing friends.
